Donna Sherifi is a London-based writer and actor making her short-film directorial debut with "Silence Is Requested". As an actor, Donna has worked across British film and television, with credits including BBC One’s "Casualty", Nick Love’s feature film "Marching Powder", and "Phoneix", a television pilot directed by Paul Andrew Williams. Her interest in storytelling has always extended beyond performance, with a particular fascination for character, atmosphere and finding unusual worlds in which to tell stories. Set entirely within the historic London Library, "Silence Is Requested" is a psychological horror inspired by the building’s atmospheric back-stacks and the feeling that the library itself could become a character. With no dialogue, the film relies entirely on visual storytelling, sound and music to build tension, establishing Donna’s distinctive approach to atmospheric, character-led filmmaking. Read less
