Synopsis
In Relieved, seventy-year-old Eugene relives the hallucinatory final days he spent with the love of his life over forty years ago. An innocent moment - Mona looking into a small rabbit hole - sets in motion an irreversible transformation. A series of strokes slowly unravels her mind, drawing her ever closer to nature while pulling her away from reality. Torn between love and survival, Eugene fights to save the woman he loves until he is forced to make an impossible choice.
