Gabriela Ledesma is a Los Angeles-based film director, producer, writer, and co-founder/CEO of Poison Pictures. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she began acting at age five for TV Globo before immigrating to the U.S. at 16 and serving five years in the United States Navy.

Ledesma made her feature directorial debut with the critically acclaimed drama Blue (2017), which won over 30 international festival awards before its acquisition by Gravitas Ventures. Her directing credits also include the feature comedy-drama The Last Conception (2019) and commercial, documentary, and music video projects for clients such as Universal Music Group, Samsung, and the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. She is thrilled to celebrate the World Premiere of her latest feature, the political horror-thriller The Exit State, at Screamfest.
