Kévin Mendiboure is a French filmmaker and graduate of ESRA film school. He directed music videos that reached over 400 million views before co-directing the Canal+ feature "Cash", then writing and directing his debut feature "The Follower" in 2017, distributed in over 150 countries.

Director Statement :

With MASK, I wanted to explore the destructive nature of greed through a simple yet symbolic narrative.

I’ve always been fascinated by the idea that the more we get, the more we want — until it consumes us. This short film is a metaphor for that vicious cycle. I chose a stylized visual approach with minimal dialogue to let the imagery and atmosphere speak for themselves, creating a dark fable that is both visually striking and emotionally unsettling.

MASK is a reminder that getting everything we want may come at the highest cost.
