Synopsis
Goldberg is a mediocre computer programmer. Eisenberg is an emotionally disturbed thug. Unfortunately the two cross paths. "Goldberg & Eisenberg" is the first Israeli urban psychological thriller, and the first dark genre film ever to be approved for production by the Israel film fund. inspired by Coen bros, Polanski, Park Chan-Wuk. currently in preliminary talks to be remade as a mini series for a major American cable channel.

Oren Carmi is an obsessive film lover, he made 14 shorts in which he was writer-director-cinematographer-editor, prior to writing-directing-editing-producing his debut feature film "Goldberg & Eisenberg". G&E is an important precedent in Israeli cinema, being the only dark genre film in Israeli history to be approved for production by the conservative Israel film fund. G&E is currently in preliminary talks to be remade into a mini-series for a major American cable channel. Carmi is also a writer on the Israeli crime series "New York" (YES channel, produced by Dori Media). He is the father of a 5 year old girl, works and lives in Tel Aviv. Read less
