Screenplay Submission Information
Online entrants can complete their application, make their credit card payment and upload a PDF version of their script.
Entry Deadlines
SCRIPT ENTRY FEE (postmark dates)
Early March 15th - $37
Regular May 15th - $52
Final Deadline June 15th - $62
The online application must be completed and script uploaded by 11:59 p.m. on Jun 15th.
A complete entry includes a single copy of a script in PDF format only, a completed online application form and an entry fee. A confirmation email will be sent.
Finalists will be notified by Oct. 1st. Screenplay finalists and winners will be announced in the Screamfest e-newsletter and the winning entries will be posted on the Screamfest website.
Entrants may submit more than one entry into the competition. Each entry must be done separately.
Hard copy scripts must be bound with industry standard brads and formatted correctly. Feature film script length should be at least 75 pages and not over 130 (there is no page limit). Submitted scripts will not be returned.
Please include a paragraph synopsis bound with script after title page.
Screenplays can be submitted online by clicking the above link or a mailed hard copy with a postmark date of no later than June 15th.
